Are you insured and licensed?
Yes, Pawesome Pet Care is fully insured through Zensurance Canada and licensed through the Town of Canmore. This provides peace of mind and protection for both our clients and our business.
What is your experience with different types of pets?
We have extensive experience with a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, and small animals.
We have experience handling pets of all ages and temperaments and are committed to providing care tailored to your pet's specific needs.
Do you have any certifications?
Yes, we are certified in Pet First Aid and CPR, ensuring we're prepared to handle any medical emergency with confidence and care.
Do you have experience with reactive or anxious dogs?
Yes! I have amassed quite a bit of experience from owning, fostering and pet sitting reactive and anxious dogs. I have worked with trainers for my own dogs and have allocated a lot of time and resources to learn how to best help them live their best lives.
What happens in a medical emergency?
Your pet's safety is our top priority. In the event of an emergency, we will immediately contact you and transport your pet to your designated veterinary clinic. If they are unavailable, we will take them to the nearest emergency animal hospital.
Will you meet my pet beforehand?
Yes, in fact we require a complimentary meet and greet before confirming our first service. This allows us to meet you and your pet, learn their routine, and ensure everyone feels comfortable and confident. We can both decide during the meet and greet if we are all comfortable and happy with the interaction and want to move forward.
